Recently, Hsieh Cheng-Syun, a third year philosophical student, together with his friends opens a restaurant in Da Chi commercial district. During past four years, Hsieh is not only self-support, but also use his pays to supplement the family income. In addition to this, he also saved funds for achieving his dream.

Hsieh said that there were two ways for him to save money, which were controlling living expense and meanwhile looking for more part-time jobs to increase income. He also suggests students that more part-time jobs they do, they will gain more skills, becoming more competitive. To himself, he has applied many skills learnt from part-time job experience in running the new restaurant.

Hsieh and his friends’ restaurant has gained many positive comments from local residents and students alike. in order to reward his student customers, Xie makes effort to connect the restaurant more to student, which makes students feel comfortable and like at home.

Although Hsieh chose the most difficult path, these four years’ hard working still help him improve self worth.
